Hello, I am Juliana Gutiérrez, a transdisciplinary leader driven by the pursuit of well-being and the creation of a positive impact on both our social and natural capital. Over the past decade, I have been dedicated to crafting collaborative solutions to address climate change. However, I have come to a realization that today's global challenges are fundamentally rooted in our disconnection from nature and ourselves. I believe that we require systemic solutions that can help us heal these disconnections within ourselves, enabling us to subsequently heal the larger systems to which we belong. I envision a convergence point where we can embark on a journey of self-healing, foster regenerative leadership, and cultivate regenerative systems. I was born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, in a very difficult and violent time of our history. Since I was a child, through the work of my parents in rural áreas as doctors, I got exposed to inequality and social injustice and also the disappearance of forest. Those experiences marked my life, and since then I've committed to create a better world.

Those experiences marked my life, and since then I've committed to create a better world.
I am a transdisciplinary leader motivated by the search of well-being and the generation of a positive impact in the social and natural capital. I have led recognized projects for the public, private and academic sectors, nationally and internationally, and I have been an entrepreneur and co-founder of different social and community initiatives in the nonprofit world. I have 15+ years experience promoting sustainability, climate change, and more recently regenerative development agendas. My leadership has been recognized and awarded by organizations such as Ashoka, Echoing Green, UNESCO, KOICA.
I am a transdisciplinary leader motivated by the search of well-being and the generation of a positive impact in the social and natural capital. I have led recognized projects for the public, private and academic sectors, nationally and internationally, and I have been an entrepreneur and co-founder of different social and community initiatives in the nonprofit world. I have 15+ years experience promoting sustainability, climate change, and more recently regenerative development agendas. My leadership has been recognized and awarded by organizations such as Ashoka, Echoing Green, UNESCO, KOICA.
I am passionate about teaching, researching and volunteering, arts, tai-chi, traditional chinese medicine and learning and spreading knowledge about technology and futurism.

I hold a degree in Finance and International Relations, a postgraduate degree in Political Studies, a Master's in Environmental Projects, and a Master's in International Studies.

I was co-founder of Low Carbon City, where I commited for over 8 years to systems change empowering citizen, governements, companies, universities, media and communties to participate in climate governance, cocreating colective solutions. From that experience, I had the chance to become in a social entrepreneur and undersatand that we all can be part of the solutions for the most presing issues we face in our society. I also had the opportunitiy to aknowledge and embrace vulnerability, experienced burnout, among other challenges, and engaged fully myself in the system I've been "trying to fix". I disconnected from myself and from nature. Being counscious about it has been the most beautiful lesson of my life, that allowed me to beging a journey of self healing and re-conection. The journey has been a beautiful one, filled with its share of ups and downs, yet profoundly reaffirming my purpose.
